Christian Ministries
Scholarship Fund

The Christian Ministries Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance for those preparing for Christian Ministries, both in seminary and undergraduate education. This fund is primarily aimed at supporting those persons from the Christian Church of Mid-America (CCMA) Region who are preparing for the Christian ministries. Women’s Ministry/CWF and the receipts from local congregations establish this fund that provides gifts as grants in aid to the recipients.

From where does the money come? From 1956-57 until 1968 the Christian Women’s Fellowship groups in Missouri were the primary supporters of this fund. Since 1961 the annual support of this fund has exceeded $4,000. As of 1969, resources were expanded to include monies from local congregations. Therefore, this fund is now a total church opportunity.

Grants are made for the academic year. A check for 1/2 of the grant is made for the fall term and 1/2 for the spring term after the Regional Office receives confirmation from the school that the student is still enrolled as a student.

Application forms for the Christian Ministries Scholarship Fund may be secured by writing to the Regional Office of The Christian Church of Mid-America, P.O. Box 104298, Jefferson City, MO 65110-4298. Applications must be returned to that office by June 1.
