Northeast AreaThe Northeast Area has 97 congregations. The Jacksonville and Cairo Churches have both a unified Board and separate Boards and consider themselves separate congregations although they worship and play together; as such, we still count them as separate.
Northwest AreaThe Northwest Area boundaries are varied as they go around the Kansas City Region. St. Joseph, Gower, Plattsburg, Lathrop and Lawson to Orrick and Odessa are basically the carve out. Excelsior Springs and Kearney are in KC. The northern border is Iowa, the southern border is I-70. The eastern border can be determined by drawing a very squiggly line between Bucklin and Arrow Rock. | Ozark Lakes AreaThere are 63 congregations of the Ozark Lakes Area of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Mid- America. The Area stretches from Rolla, Missouri, west to the Missouri/Kansas state line; from Pleasant Hill, Missouri south to the Missouri/Arkansas state line. Southeast Gateway Area (SEGA)The Southeast Gateway Area has 42 congregations. Five are located in small communities across the Mississippi River by St. Louis, in Illinois. Eight congregations are located in small towns or suburban-type communities around St. Louis. Fourteen congregations are located in St. Louis City, and fifteen are located in mostly smaller communities to the south of St. Louis. The boundaries of SEGA run from Troy, Missouri, south to Doniphan and over to Kennett; then up the Mississippi River, taking in 5 Illinois communities next to St. Louis, before continuing to follow the river around the north side of St. Louis. |
