A vital work of the commission on Mission and Unity is the promotion and calling of Mission and Ministry Interpreters (MMIs). Individuals selected receive training in the interpretation of the Church’s ministries around the world and in this country. These individuals help inform congregations about the work we share globally. They also assist in the scheduling of visits by Global Mission partners and home mission partners. The MMIs also help connect congregations and individuals with opportunities for hands-on ministry through our partners.
