MO Impact

Missouri Impact's purpose is to be a grassroots network of persons across Missouri, who, out of concern for justice on the basis of religious and moral convictions, seek to influence public policy in Missouri.

Missouri Impact members believe in a God of Compassion. As people of faith, we believe that God calls us to service, to share the burden of all who suffer, to care about what happens to the children, the sick, the poor, the homeless. Missouri Impact is engaged in a political ministry to answer this call to service.

Fundamental decisions are made in the political arena that determine peace or violence, justice or injustice, public good or private gain. Missouri Impact pursues enactment of many religious values of peace and justice through public policy. By participating in the political world, the religious community contributes a vision of a society better able to order its life on the basis of the common good.
