Dr. Penny Ross-Corona
Coming to Missouri felt like coming back home for the Rev. Dr. Corona, who was born in Jefferson City and raised at the First Christian Church there. She has been serving as the Southeast Gateway Area Minister as of January 1, 2004. However, prior to coming to St. Louis, she served as Associate Area Minister for the North Texas Area of the Christian Church (DOC).

The Southeast Gateway Area has 42 congregations. The boundaries of SEGA run from Troy, Missouri, south to Doniphan and over to Kennett; then up the Mississippi River, taking in five Illinois communities next to St. Louis, before continuing to follow the river around the north side of St. Louis.
