Dr. Penny Ross-Corona
Coming to Missouri has felt like coming back home forthe Rev. Dr. Penny Ross-Corona, who was born in Jefferson City and raised in the First Christian Church there. At age 12, Penny moved with her family to Memphis, Tennessee, where they became active members of Lindenwood Christian Church. Upon graduation from high school, Penny enrolled in Phillips University, Enid, Oklahoma, earning a B.S. in Christian Education.

The Southeast Gateway Area has 42 congregations. The boundaries of SEGA run from Troy, Missouri, south to Doniphan and over to Kennett; then up the Mississippi River, taking in five Illinois communities next to St. Louis, before continuing to follow the river around the north side of St. Louis.
