Rev. Edvonia Scott is offering this Mental Health First Aid course which is open to all. Particularly important for first responders, hospital staff, and employers, this information can benefit all caring individuals.

The agenda includes applying the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan (ALGEE):

• Assess for risk of suicide or harm.

• Listen nonjudgmentally.

• Give reassurance and information.

• Encourage appropriate professional help.

• Encourage self-help and other support strategies.
