GENERAL Assembly

Our next General Assembly will take place July 10-11, 2026
in an online format.

The theme for the 2026 online General Assembly is “BEYOND: Love Surpassing”. The theme is based on Ephesians 3:14-21.

Some important things to know:

• There are congregational resources available for all to use in conjunction with the Assembly. They include reflections, prayers, liturgy components, and a blessing for delegates.

• Each congregation can name three voting delegates in additional to all clergy with standing in Mid-America. Refer to this guide for information about the responsibilities of delegates as well as suggestions for their selection. Delegates were invited to an informational session on June 9 at 7:00 pm.   Congregational voting delegates must be identified in the ALEX system by Monday, July 6.

• With the online format this year, people can be a part of the Assembly from anywhere. Tune in from home, or join with other Disciples at one of our local host congregation’s viewing hubs. Our Mid-America hosts are listed below and we are still seeking more, especially in the southwest and Mineral portions of the Region. Here’s information about how to be a host church.
