On Tuesday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m. in Clara Thompson Hall, the Drury School of Religion will offer Drury and the Springfield area the opportunity to hear Disciples of Christ theologian Rita Nakashima Brock talk about her work with veterans seeking to recover from the trauma of war. Dr. Brock’s ministry to veterans fits very well Drury’s own commitment to being a military friendly university. The university hopes this lecture will be beneficial not only to their own student veterans but to veterans and those who care about them throughout the Ozarks.
