The Native American art of drum building is a sacred spiritual practice involving a ceremony where the drum is created with intention as a living, sacred instrument. Steeped in intentional prayer and meditation, aligning spirituality the drum with the heartbeat, connecting with spirits, and fostering a deep sense of community and healing.
Illuman of the Ozarks will share the art of drum birthing. This activity takes strength and agility for those wanting the experience and opportunity of hands-on working together building a drum. For those who want the experience without the hands building a drum, you too will find a spiritual encounter with community and bonding.
Space is limited. Accommodations are dorm-type bunks. When registering please note if you could take a top bunk, leaving the lower for those women that cannot climb up.
$250 includes two nights lodging, meals, and material to build your own drum.
$100 includes two nights lodging, meals, and the experience of the spiritual encounter, sharing the time in spirit and helping where needed without the drum. See flyer here>
